A SCOOTER stolen from Brighouse was recovered from an area in Bradford.
The motorcycle was taken from Burnsall Road in the Calderdale town on Wednesday night.
A tracker showed the scooter had travelled to Allerton where the thieves had dumped it in woods near Chellow Dene reservoir.
The motorcycle was then recovered by officers from a muddy embankment to Stoneywood.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Located and recovered within the hour.
"Sadly, a lot of unnecessary damage was caused to the scooter by the thieves."
