A MAN is due in Bradford Magistrates' Court today charged with murder and arson after a man died in hospital following a fire.
Police investigating the fatal house fire in Fartown, Huddersfield, have charged a man in connection with the incident.
Marcin Kramarski, 42 of Hillhouse Lane, Huddersfield, has been charged with murder and arson with intent to endanger life and is due to appear in court today.
Officers are continuing to appeal for friends and family of the man who died to come forward.
The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team would like to speak to any relatives of Raimondas Vejelis, 52, who died in hospital following the fire at his flat on Hillhouse Lane in the early hours of February 14.
Mr Vejelis is originally from Lithuania and died in hospital on Sunday, February 18, from injuries he sustained in the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
