TWO people suffered injuries in an assault when a "scuffle" reportedly broke out outside Shipley College on Tuesday. 

Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident - on Exhibition Road in Saltaire. 

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 12.30pm on February 20 officers were called to Exhibition Road, Saltaire, to reports of an assault.

"Two people were assaulted suffering minor injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing.

"Any witnesses are asked to contact 101 quoting crime reference number 13240095298.

One resident shared his concerns.

"It was an incident involving students," he claimed. 

"One boy was getting aggravation and there was a scuffle.

He said one of the boys was attacked when he went to help his friend.

"One of the tutors ran out to put a stop to it and he noticed one boy's leg was bleeding.

"The ambulance and police were there."
