AN Oakworth author is celebrating ten years since her first novel was published – with the launch of her 30th book!
Portia MacIntosh initially worked as a music journalist after leaving university, attending gigs and touring with bands.
She wrote a novel to share her behind-the-scenes stories, and her work was snapped up by a publisher.
Since then, Portia has sold over a million books worldwide.
Her 'anniversary novel' is Ex in the City, which catches up with characters from her debut book.
"I can’t believe it’s ten years since my first novel," she says.
"At the time I wasn’t even sure if anyone would read it, so it’s amazing to be publishing my 30th book."
Portia’s books are available in all formats from main retailers. Her audiobooks are also on Spotify.
Ex in the City publishes on Tuesday, February 27. Book 31, The Suite Life, is out in April.
