A stretch of Hall Ings - from Bridge Street to Jacobs Well - is to be pedestrianised.
From today, Hall Ings will be partially closed to vehicle traffic to allow for accelerated works to begin that will eventually see the majority of the road become part of an expanded Norfolk Gardens, creating a new city centre park.
Here are some images of the road, as we have known it for decades, to stick in your scrapbook.
- What are your memories of Hall Ings? Do you think the changes are for the better - or will they make the city centre worse? Let us know by sending your letters to: tanda.letters@telegraphandargus.co.uk
