WEST Yorkshire Police's mounted section has had a special visitor.
An 84-year-old lady called Barbra was welcomed to the force's Carr Gate complex in Wakefield recently.
A spokesperson for the force said Barbra loves seeing the horses out on patrol - so they invited her to see the animals at the stables.
Police shared a lovely picture on social media of Barbra all smiles with two of the horses and their officers.
The force spokesperson said: "Our mounted section had a special visitor recently when 84-year-old Barbra was welcomed to Carr Gate.
"Barbra always comes out to say hello, come rain or shine, when she sees our horses on patrol in Wakefield.
"So we invited her to meet them all at the stables."
