TWO people were rescued from a car following a crash near a major Bradford road.
There was a large emergency service presence - including police vehicles, fire engines, and ambulances - at the junction of Thornton Road and Kensington Street just before 3pm on Sunday.
Firefighters freed the two casualties and handed them over to the care of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS).
The two-vehicle collision left Thornton Road partially blocked in both directions for around two hours.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 3.09pm to Kensington Street to reports of a road traffic collision.
"We sent two crews, Fairweather Green and Bradford.
"We freed two casualties from a car and handed them over to the care of ambulance staff."
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police were called at 2.52pm and YAS were already on scene.
"Two were taken to hospital for treatment."
