Overnight roadworks are planned for Bradford city centre in the coming week.

The resurfacing works will affect a number of routes between 8pm and 6am, while a new junction is also being installed.

The 'CYCLOPS' junction - which completely separates pedestrians and cyclists from traffic - is hoped to improve safety and reduce collisions.

It is part of the ongoing £43.5 million works to transform the look and feel of the city centre.

Here's what you need to know about roadworks planned for early to mid-February.

Overnight roadworks in Bradford city centre

There'll be overnight resurfacing work, between 8pm and 6am, on Sunbridge Road between the junctions with Godwin Street and Barry Street on Thursday, February 15. It is only expected to take place on this one night.

Overnight works are planned for Hall Ings, between 8pm and 6am, and will continue for three nights on February 12, 13, 14. Diversion routes will be in place while this work is being carried out. This work will see a new ‘CYCLOPS’ junction being introduced to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

There will be further overnight works on Hall Ings, between Channing Way and Bridge Street, next week from Thursday, February 15, and will continue into the following week. There will be no diversions in place, but there will be a lane closure on the eastbound side of Hall Ings between Channing Way and Bridge Street.
