A FORMER officer with North Yorkshire Police has pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexual assault.
Lee Meadows, 44, from Doncaster, is accused of intentionally touching a woman in a sexual nature without her consent on September 25, 2020.
Dressed in a dark suit, Meadows spoke to confirm his name and answered “not guilty” when the charge was put to him during a brief hearing at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday.
His trial, set to last four to five days, will begin on June 2, 2025.
The former police constable has since retired from the force.
