POLICE have warned drivers that "tape is not an appropriate way to repair a vehicle" after a car was found in an unsafe condition.
Officers came across the red vehicle when patrolling the Weetwood & Headingley areas of Leeds.
During their patrol, one vehicle was seized for driving without a license or insurance, and three tickets were issued for driving without a seatbelt.
Two tickets were also given to individuals who were driving a vehicle in an unsafe condition.
A spokesperson for the force added: "The condition of your vehicle is your responsibility as a driver.
"Items like tyres (pressure and wear) oil and screenwash should be checked regularly.
"It should also go without saying that tape is not an appropriate way to repair a vehicle."
