A MALE has been arrested after armed police were called to a house in Thornbury.
West Yorkshire Police were called to an address on Leeds Road at around 9.58am on Wednesday (January 7).
Traffic was reportedly stopped near Thornbury Morrisons as armed officers approached the property.
Police were responding to reports of a concern for safety.
A male has been arrested and taken into custody, a police spokesperson said.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called to a report of concern for safety at an address on Leeds Road, Bradford, at 9.58am this morning (7/2).
"A male has been arrested and taken into custody."
