POLICE data has revealed the eye-watering speeds cars have reached on motorways in the county – with one driver caught at 143mph on Bradford’s M606.
The shocking details were revealed through a Freedom of Information request to West Yorkshire Police.
The request asked the following: “For each of the following calendar years 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019 can you please tell me the top five speeds recorded in your area for each of the calendar years above?
“Can you please list the make and model of those vehicles and the location of the speeding offence?”
