A MAN was arrested after police found a baseball bat, suspected drugs, and a knuckle duster glove in a car.
Officers were conducting patrols in the Great Horton area of Bradford when they had reason to stop the vehicle due to possible document offences.
A search of the car led to the items - which included nine small plastic bags containing suspected Class A drugs - being discovered.
The driver has since been charged with possessing an offensive weapon.
He was released under investigation in relation to a possession with intent to supply class A drugs offence.
West Yorkshire Police Great Horton/Queensbury ward sergeant, PS Amirat, said the work "demonstrates our continued commitment in disrupting criminality within the ward area, and ensuring the communities of Bradford are safe and feel safe".
He added: "We will continue carrying out proactive patrols in the key areas of the ward."
