A FORMER Leeds United manager has been banned from driving after speeding on a West Yorkshire motorway.
Jesse Marsch, who managed the now-Championship club 37 times in a spell that lasted just under a year, did not appear for his hearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court and Family Court.
The 50-year-old admitted to going 67mph in a 50mph zone on the M1 in Leeds on June 17 of last year.
He was slapped with a six-month driving disqualification at a hearing last Friday (January 19).
US native Marsch, who has been unemployed since leaving Leeds last February, was also fined £80, and has to pay court costs of £90 and a £32 victim surcharge.
Court records state: "Disqualification obligatory due to repeat offending. Driving record endorsed. (4 penalty points determined)."
The football manager has until February 9 to pay the £202 total.
