THE aftermath of high winds overnight has caused disruption on a Bradford road.

Yesterday, Yorkshire Water completed a repair on a burst water main on Broad Lane, off Sticker Lane, in Laisterdyke.

The Telegraph & Argus visited the road at 10.30am on Friday morning.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Rubble had been dug out of the road forming a hole which was guarded by road safety barriers.

With Bradford battered by wind last night, gusts hit speeds of 40mph, the barriers had fallen.

Yorkshire Water says the road will fully reopen tomorrow (Saturday) as their teams get to work restoring the barriers and reinstating the road.

First Bus says the closure has meant its 608 and 630 services are being diverted.
