A MAN has been arrested after a large suspected cannabis grow was discovered.
A big police presence formed on a street in Brighouse.
Officers carried out a warrant to search an address.
They discovered a large suspected cannabis grow.
A man was arrested and remanded to court.
A spokesperson for the force added: "As we continue #NeighbourhoodPolicingWeek, Valley NPT officers carried out a misuse of drugs act warrant in Brighouse."
Speaking in more general terms, West Yorkshire Police said cannabis farms are premises which have been adapted to such an extent that normal usage would be inhibited. Things present within the premises can include high intensity lighting, extractor fans and hydroponics systems.
Police added that cannabis farms are very dangerous places and pose a serious risk of fire.
