EMERGENCY services were scrambled to reports of a house fire in Bradford this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to a property on Bromford Road in the East Bowling area shortly before 2.45pm.
There was no fire on arrival, however, and the incident was subsequently confirmed as a false alarm.
A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service told the Telegraph & Argus: "We were called at 2.38pm to reports of a house fire at Bromford Road.
"We sent two crews from Bradford and one from Rawdon.
"There was no fire on arrival, it was a false alarm."
