A WOMAN who has been left scarred from a "terrible experience" in Turkey where breast surgery left her in severe pain, has returned to the UK.

Chloe Rose, 23, of Halifax, boarded a medically assisted flight into Manchester on Monday morning following a breast uplift procedure last week.

Chloe's sister, Collette Pickering, said Chloe said things took a turn for the worst in the air when Chloe felt dizzy and had high blood pressure.

It meant she was immediately sent to hospital, once the plane had landed.

Here, she underwent treatment for necrosis - the death of body tissue.

“Her health went downhill in the air,” Collette said.

“She felt really dizzy and her blood pressure and heart rate was very high.

“She got blue lighted from the airport to the hospital where she received treatment for necrosis.

“She has a mum with her now. She needs time to heal and recover.”

A total of £8,000 was raised through a GoFundMe page for Chloe’s plight.

Collette said the remaining funds will be donated to the NHS.

Collette added: “I went to go see her when she got back, and she was still in a really tough place.

“She was still in a lot of pain and was not her usual self.

“She had her wounds cleaned properly and the right sort of treatment.

“Any funds left over from the fundraiser, she said she will donate them to the NHS breast clinic.”

In a message on Facebook, Chloe said she "could not thank everyone enough" for their help in getting her back to the UK, adding: "I have no words."

When news of Chloe's plight first emerged on Friday, Collette told the Telegraph & Argus: "The surgery should have taken 45 minutes, it took five hours. It should have been so simple.

"My sister came out in shock where she was convulsing on the bed. From that point on it was all downhill.

"She is very very weak and swollen. The injuries are so graphic and horrible, they are making me throw up."

Halifax MP Holly Lynch also got involved, saying she was sorry to hear of Chloe's terrible experience. Her office contacted the Foreign Office who assured her they are escalating the matter."
