Great Horton ward is hosting its first ever jobs fair this week, linking people to jobs, apprenticeships, training and education.
The event, jointly hosted by Bradford Council’s Neighbourhood Support Service and SkillsHouse, will be held at Great Horton Community Hub and Library, on Thursday 25 January.
Around 15-20 employers and training providers will be on hand to provide information on job and training opportunities. The event is aimed at anyone in the area looking for work, training, a change of career or to build on their skills for work.
The event is the first of its kind in the Great Horton area and was set up after a number of residents expressed an interest in a local jobs fair when consulted.
Any resident across Bradford South is welcome to attend. Bradford South covers the following Tong, Royds, Wibsey, Wyke, Queensbury and Great Horton wards.
The jobs fair will run from 10am to 2pm at Great Horton Community Hub and Library, 69 Beldon Road BD7 3PE.
