A WOMAN is desperate to get back to West Yorkshire after suffering a "terrible experience" in Turkey when breast surgery left her in severe pain and with necrosis.

Chloe Rose, 23, is currently stuck in the country following the breast uplift procedure earlier this week.

The Foreign Office has assured Chloe's MP that they are "escalating the matter."

Chloe's sister, Collette Pickering, said Chloe had an infection and necrosis - the death of body tissue.

Her family are now keen to raise the £15,000 needed to medically evacuate Chloe from Turkey via air ambulance.

"It has been heartbreaking to listen to her in so much pain," Collette said.

"When I have spoken to her on the phone she has been screaming and begging.

She added: "The surgery should have taken 45 minutes, it took five hours. It should have been so simple.

"My sister came out in shock where she was convulsing on the bed. From that point on it was all downhill.

"She is very very weak and swollen. The injuries are so graphic and horrible, they are making me throw up."

Chloe, who is from Halifax, and her best friend flew out across Sunday and Monday.

The surgery took place on Tuesday and "did not go well", according to Collette.

Collette says the family have approached the British Embassy and the office of her local MP Holly Lynch.

She added: "We need to get her home!

"There is a massive language barrier over there.

"If we can generate the funds, we will be able to get a bed-to-bed transfer to get her back in the country and get the help that she needs."

A GoFundMe page, launched by Collette, has already raised over £3,600 by 6pm on Friday.

It reads: "I am desperately asking you to help me bring my little sister home.

"She’s young, scared and away from family and help.

"I’ve spoken to the air ambulance and to bring her home it’s going to cost us over £15,000 so we are asking people who know and love Chloe to please give anything you can.

"Even if you don’t know Chloe, please please get her back with her family and in safe hands.

"Time is of the essence. So much thanks to everyone/anyone who helps."

Halifax MP Holly Lynch said: "I was sorry to hear today about Chloe's terrible experience. My office have contacted the Foreign Office who assure me they are escalating the matter, we have also contacted Chloe's insurance provider to make representations on her behalf.

"I will continue to do what I can to support Chloe and her family in the days to come."
