ZAYN Malik has delighted fans by singing in Urdu as part of a collaboration with popular Pakistani band Aur.

The ex-One Direction star joined the band to recreate the band's famous breakout hit, Tu Hai Kahan. 

Attracting more than 3.4 million views online, the song features Zayn singing in Urdu.

The 31-year-old’s father is a Pakistani immigrant to the UK.

Joined by the international pop star, Karachi-based Aur hope to bring Pakistani music into the mainstream.

The original version of Tu Hai Kahan caught the attention of more than 96 million people around the world. 

But the East Bowling star’s vocals on the new track have won over fans once again.

Another wrote: “Huge props to Zayn and hope to see more Pakistani or Indian collaborations soon.”

One person said: “How beautiful his voice is in Urdu. We want more Urdu songs from you please.”
