A POST office in Bradford looks set to close later this year - although there could still be hope of its survival.
Rumours have been circulating in the local community that the Allerton Post Office would be shutting soon.
The Post Office has now confirmed to the Telegraph & Argus when this will be.
The company says the operator at their Allerton branch resigned last June.
Since then, the search has been on to find a replacement and an "interested applicant" has been found.
But, as of now, the Allerton Post Office will be closing in June 2024.
A Post Office spokesperson said: “The operator for Allerton Post Office resigned last June and the branch is due to close at the current location at the start of June.
"The vacancy has been advertised and we have an interested applicant.”
