ALL lines have reopened following a trespass incident on the railway between Leeds and Harrogate.

It caused major delays, with Northern warning that train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed.

A Northern spokesperson said the incident was just outside Leeds.

"The police are on site. Train services are unable to run between Leeds and Harrogate (in both directions). Services between York and Harrogate are able to run," they added.

"Passengers are advised to travel via the main line between Leeds and York. Northern passengers may use Transpennine Express services."

"Passengers on the Harrogate line may use LNER services to complete their journey."

Replacement buses were also provided.

In an update, Northern said all lines have now reopened and services will return to normal, though there may be some delays.
