A WEST Yorkshire police dog has completed her last-ever working shift.
Much-loved Macy has assisted her human colleagues with countless incidents over the years, from helping to find missing people to tracking down hardened criminals.
She has also enjoyed small screen success, starring on TV's Police Interceptors.
Macy's last working shift was on Christmas Eve.
She and her handler are now enjoying a well-deserved break over Christmas before training starts with pooch Blue, who will follow in Macy's paw prints in the new year.
When he eventually takes over, Macy will officially retire.
Her handler said: "My little TV star has done me proud."
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson wished Macy a happy retirement and said she will be missed.
Thank you for all your service, Macy - and enjoy putting your paws up over the Christmas break!
