A MAN was seriously injured after being punched in an early-morning attack.
The crime happened in Richardshaw Lane, Pudsey, at 12.30am today.
Police said the victim, a 34-year-old man, was punched and knocked unconscious during an altercation involving a group of men.
He was taken to hospital and treated for a head injury.
Officers said investigations were taking place into the incident.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 12.30am this morning, police were called to an incident in Richardshaw Lane, Pudsey, where a man had been assaulted and seriously injured.
"The victim, a 34-year-old man, had been punched by a suspect and knocked unconscious during an altercation involving a group of males.
"He was treated at hospital for a head injury and later discharged.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the incident."
