A PEDESTRIAN has been seriously injured in a collision this morning.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene and a cordon was put in place this morning on Westgate, Cleckheaton.
Roads were closed as the police and the ambulance service attended to the injured man.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Shortly before 6.30am today, police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Westgate, Cleckheaton.
"Emergency services attended and found a man with serious injuries who was taken to hospital for treatment.
"Road closures were in place for a short time.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of the collision."
