A PERSON is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a three-vehicle crash on the M62, police have said.

Emergency services were called to the collision on the eastbound stretch of the motorway, close to junction 23, at 8.55pm yesterday.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said this morning: "Two people were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.

"One of those people's injuries are described as life-threatening.

"The M62 eastbound was closed in the area while investigations took place and was partially reopened at 5.10am, before being fully reopened a short time later."
