RESIDENTS have less than a week to donate toys at a local Bradford pub to those in need this Christmas.
Hungry Horse has donation stations in 235 pubs nationwide, including one at the Noble Comb on Salts Mill Road, Shipley, with gifts going to disadvantaged children in the surrounding communities.
This follows research showing 18 per cent of UK parents know a child who won’t get a gift this Christmas, equating to an estimated 2.2 million children in the UK.
Anyone who wants to donate any preloved, new or unused toys should visit their local pub before Sunday, December 18.
Pubs will supply the toys to a nominated local charity, with donations provided them to those in need in the lead up to Christmas.
Sarah Williams, Senior Marketing Manager for Hungry Horse, said: “We believe that every child deserves the joy of a Christmas present, and Hungry Horse is proud to continue its 'Toy Boxing Day' scheme for the third year running.
“Together, we can ensure that no child goes without a gift this festive season and spread the true spirit of Christmas throughout our communities.”
