Princes Trust and Foundation Learning Programmes are ideal to get life skills, if you are between 16 and 18-years-old with learning difficulties, have no formal qualifications, or limited GCSE grades.

BRADFORD College offers free courses for over 19s looking to gain in-demand skills and knowledge to secure their ideal career.

The College runs these free courses for adults under the Free Courses for Jobs scheme (previously called the Lifetime Skills Guarantee Scheme). Courses cover subjects including Applied Science, Catering, Childcare, Computing, Early Years, Engineering, Health and Social Care, IT, Sports, Uniformed Services, Vehicle Maintenance, and Youth Work. The free qualifications are open to adults who do not hold a Level 3 qualification OR who have a Level 3 qualification or higher but earn below the National Living Wage/are unemployed.

LEVEL 3 Hairdressing students at Bradford College were treated to a masterclass from haircare expert Paul Thompson from Neal & Wolf.

Neal & Wolf are leaders in salon-approved haircare products and are passionate about educating the next generation of talent. They have over 30 years of experience working with exceptional hair care professionals. Paul talked to students about the sector and his 20-plus years of professional hairstyling experience. He left them with a wealth of hints and tips on achieving salon-perfect hair.

Students on this Level 3 course develop practical hairdressing skills while building confidence and taking their commercial know-how to a higher standard. Neal & Wolf is one of the many partners Bradford College works with to ensure learners receive real industry experiences and are career-ready after completing their studies.

HIGHER education students from the Bradford School of Art at Bradford College wowed spectators when they performed a recent musical showcase in front of a packed crowd.

Reload was the latest event created and organised by students studying the FdA (Foundation) and BA (Hons) Top-Up Music for the Creative Industries qualifications.

Talented vocalists, guitarists, drummers, and DJs showed off their eclectic skills to an audience of friends, family, and music enthusiasts.

Bradford School of Art has an established reputation for producing exceptional musicians.

Each student learns through practical, hands-on tuition using real-world scenarios and academic theory in the classroom.
