BAILDON'S All Together Now Choir has been entertaining crowds at festive events over the weekend.

Says Liz Robinson from the choir: "What a great start to our Christmas season! We began our weekend on Saturday afternoon, singing festive numbers for the Bingley Christmas Lights switch on. A favourite event, organised beautifully by the amazing Michelle Chapman and her team. Despite the chilly weather, a large number of choir members gathered, with a lovely appreciative crowd joining in - a fabulous afternoon.

"On Sunday the choir sang three times at the wonderful Baildon at Christmas event. We began in Wesleys, the original home of the choir, singing our versions of Gloria in Excelsis Deo and Carol of the Bells, among others. An absolute must to sing was the haunting O Holy Night, such a favourite of so many, which brought huge applause from the audience.

It was "an absolute privilege" to listen, said one audience member.

"The choir then performed at the Bulls Head, with songs including Let It Snow, and Underneath the Tree. A lovely, relaxed session with another appreciative audience. We had to repeat our performance of O Holy Night for landlady Juanita!

"The day in Baildon ended around the tree, just before the lights were switched on. The crowd joined in with popular Christmas songs, including Winter Wonderland, finishing with Slade's Merry Christmas Everybody.

"And to add to the festive atmosphere - it snowed!

Many thanks to all who played a part in this truly wonderful weekend."
