A dog grooming salon in Bradford is celebrating after being named the best in England at a prestigious awards ceremony.
Animal Magic Dog Grooming Ltd started out in Joanne Barraclough-Nothers' garage more than 30 years ago.
Now based at a salon in Wyke, she runs the business with her daughter Ebony Nothers and colleague Crystal Tattersall-Walton.
Earlier this year, Animal Magic Dog Grooming was awarded the title of best in West Yorkshire at England’s Business Awards 2023.
Joanne has since been recognised at a national level and earned the title of 'best pet grooming business in England'.
Reacting to the news, she said: "We are all so proud that our hard work and dedication has been appreciated by our loyal customers.
"We were competing against all the 16 regional winners in the country which made it a very tough competition."
“I used to do it from home and then I got busier and busier,” Joanne previously told the T&A.
“More people got to know me and it fit in with school times and dropping my daughters off at school. Eventually everybody in Wyke started using me. It really blew up.
“It’s a passion, it’s not just a job."
