POLICE have issued an update following an attempted assault by a group armed with machetes at a Bradford pub.
Officers attended a criminal damage report at the White Swan, on High Street in Wibsey on Friday evening.
Further enquiries showed this was linked to an earlier incident where a car had been driven at a man on the street.
The victim in that incident had gone into the pub.
A man, 21, was arrested on suspicion of threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place, attempted wounding with intent, and criminal damage.
West Yorkshire Police say he has since been "bailed pending further enquiries".
They add that another 21-year-old male was arrested and released with no further action.
