AGE UK Bradford District has announced a partnership with Bradford company Assisted Living.
Assisted Living provides accessible bathroom solutions to enable older people to continue living independently in their own homes.
The partnership will see the firm making a £50 donation from each bathroom sold, as well as becoming a Trusted Trader for the charity.
Mark Rounding, CEO of Age UK Bradford District, said: "It's fantastic to be working with a company that share our vision to help older people improve their quality of life and maintain independence.
"We know that a lot of older people suffer from loneliness, especially since the long-lasting effects of the pandemic and extended periods of social isolation."
Cheryl Risdon, Client Services Manager of Assisted Living, added: “When we were approached by Lynette at Age UK Bradford District to become a trusted trader, we were delighted to have the opportunity to be able to support elderly people across the Bradford district.
"We are aiming to donate a minimum of £300 a month which we know will go towards assisting the invaluable schemes that the charity runs.”
Age UK Bradford District and Assisted Living will jointly host a festive Jingle Bakes event on Tuesday, December 12, from 10am to 12 noon in the charity’s Wrose Hub at 75 Wrose Road, Wrose, Bradford, BD18 1HX.
