A CLOCK featuring a picture of Saddam Hussein has been sold on Facebook Marketplace.
The item appeared on the buying and selling platform just over two weeks ago and featured the former president of Iraq, who was executed on December 30, 2006.
The clock was listed in the Brighouse area.
The description for it said: “Battery operated clock featuring a picture of Saddam Hussain, ex-president of Iraq and inscribed Iraqi Airways.
“Presented to dignitaries in the travel trade in the 1990s so probably unique.”
A photo of the product shows a framed picture of Hussein, with a small clockface to the right of the item and the Iraqi Airways logo just underneath.
Its condition is described as being used but like new.
The clock sold between Thursday and Friday last week.
The Telegraph & Argus contacted the seller for comment but did not receive a response.
