A WORLDWIDE popstar from Bradford has unveiled his "latest venture".

East Bowling-born singer Zayn Malik, once of One Direction fame, has launched his own brand of non-alcoholic cocktails.

The 30-year-old has joined Mixoloshe as the company's new chief creative officer and co-owner.

To mark the announcement, Malik launched his first flavour for the brand - a non-alcoholic Lychee Martini.

He took to Instagram to inform his 51.5 million followers: "Proud to unveil my latest venture, @Mixoloshe.

"A blend of passion, craft, and joy.

"Now available at mixoloshe.com and at Walmart stores near you & online!"

On the Mixoloshe website, a description of how Malik got involved in the brand reads: "Over six months ago, Zayn stumbled upon Mixoloshe, and it was a sip that changed everything.

"The flavours, especially the fiery Mango Chilli Crush, the zesty Orange Old Fashioned, and the Caribbean Mojito, struck a chord with his taste buds like a new harmony.

"Back at home, Zayn made Mixoloshe his drink of choice, sharing laughs and memorable moments with friends over these delights.

"And then came the twist — he decided to make Mixoloshe a part of his journey, but the world didn’t know it yet."
