A SWAN has been rescued after it made its way on to a busy bypass.
Yorkshire Swan and Wildlife Rescue Hospital were called to a report of a swan on the A650 Bingley Bypass, yesterday morning.
The bird was rescued and released onto nearby safe water where it immediately attracted the attention of another single swan.
The swan thankfully did not sustain any injuries.
Yorkshire Swan and Wildlife Rescue Hospital, posted on social media and said: "One of our rescuers managed to get this swan to safety yesterday morning, after it was reported on the busy A650 bypass at Bingley.
"Thankfully uninjured, the bird was released onto nearby safe waters, immediately attracting the attention of another single swan."
