TWO dozen vehicles were seized by police in Keighley as part of a day of action.

A selection of cars have been seized in partnership days of action, undertaken today by West Yorkshire Police Keighley Neighbourhood Team with partners from DVLA and Bradford Council in Keighley Central and Keighley-East wards.

24 cars were seized from various roads including: West Lane, Grange Street, Admiral Way, Rawling Street, Malsis Road, Brewery Street, Park Terrace, Beechwood Avenue, Haynes Street, Scott Lane West and Westfield Crescent.

This is part of West Yorkshire Police's ongoing work to target illegal driving, speeding and antisocial use of vehicles and part of the wider work to achieve #VisionZero (to reduce death or serious injuries on our roads to zero by 2040).

The next day of action is planned with five tow trucks, coming to a Keighley Street.
