THOSE looking for a new career are invited to a job and skills fair being held in Bradford.

The careers fair will give employers in the public and professional sector the chance to share their current opportunities. 

The inaugural Careers Unlocked jobs fair will take place at City Hall from 2pm to 7pm on Thursday,  October 12.

People can find out what it’s like to work in different organisations and promote a range of career options.

Careers include education and training, health and social care, adult and child services, public services and law.

There will also be a dedicated SkillsHouse Jobshop area, with job boards showcasing live vacancies and ‘CV doctors’ offering one-to-one support.  

Workshops will take place throughout the day.

The event is open to the public and is suitable for job seekers, university students, young people, and families.

Confirmed stall holders include the Royal Air Force, West Yorkshire Police, British Army, DWP Digital, Crown Prosecution Service, HMRC, Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Metro Bank Plc., SmartSearch, Yorkshire Learning Providers, Shipley College, Skills for Work, Bradford College, Keighley College, University of Bradford, Leeds Trinity University GradSkills, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, Bradford Care Association, Premier Care, Spellman Care, Bradford Children and Families Trust, Be Caring, DWP Bradford Job Centre, Medacs Healthcare and SkillsHouse.

Attendees will be eligible to receive a digital engagement badge from Badge Nation to highlight the experience on their digital CV.
