PLANS to turn a former coffee shop in Bradford city centre into a bank have been approved.
TSB submitted a planning application to convert the former Esquires coffee shop on Broadway earlier this summer.
The café shut its doors in earlier this year, and in March the company revealed it would not be re-opening.
The application, to “fit out of an existing retail unit into a TSB retail branch,” has now been approved by planning officers at Bradford Council.
The banking giant already has a large branch at the bottom of Ivegate.
A spokesman for TSB told the Telegraph & Argus that they could not yet comment on the future of that branch, or any planned opening date for the Broadway branch.
