A Bradford choir has shared the joy of singing after touring the medieval Irish town of Kilkenny.
The Hot Aire! Concert Band went on tour for the first time since a trip to Bavaria, Germany, four years ago.
Around 50 members performed three concerts at the grounds of the beautiful Kilkenny Castle, one, the bandstand of seaside town Bray, and St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kilkenny.
The church performance was a joint concert with St Patrick’s Brass and Reed Band.
Both bands got the audience on their feet by the end of the concert.
Hot Aire! is led by the Stephen Bradnum, a conductor and published composer.
He said: “My highlight of the concert was seeing all band members thoroughly enjoying themselves and playing their hearts out. True genuine happiness and joy.”
Hot Aire! rehearsals take place on Saturday mornings at St Peter’s Church in Shipley.
