They begin on Friday October 13 with a short AGM followed by talks entitled Winter Finches and A Swift Nursery, with Leeds-based expert Linda Jenkinson.
The event takes place at Shipley Library, 2 Well Croft, Shipley BD18 3QH. It will start at 7pm and costs £4. with accompanied children free.
On Sunday 15 October 15 there will be a car share outing to Martin Mere in Lancashire, a wetland nature reserve managed by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.
The day runs from 8 am to 6 pm, meeting in Shipley town centre or from a local pick-up point to be arranged. Drivers can be reimbursed to cover fuel costs - we suggest 8p per mile per passenger (around £10.00). There will be an entrance fee at the venue of approximately £12. Booking is essential.
