It is almost that time of year when hundreds of handmade lanterns light up Bradford's Lister Park.

Listers Lantern Parade attracts thousands of people to the historic park every Autumn.

The spectacular parade features lanterns and giant illuminated puppets made by creatives young and old.

Anyone who would like to get involved is invited to a lantern making workshop with host Cecil Green Arts, part of 2023's Intercultured Festival line-up.

Cecil Green Arts is an artist-led organisation based in Bradford, working with communities to create street theatre and events that specialise in large-scale lanterns and puppets.

This year's free lantern making workshop is being held at City Library between 1pm and 4pm on Monday, October 23 - the start of the school half term.

Children who attend the workshop must be accompanied by an adult.

Listers Lantern Parade will take place in Lister Park on Friday, October 27.
