TWO vehicles were seized and four taxis were dealt with during a police operation.
Officers from Batley/Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team, along with Kirklees Licensing, and DVSA, took part in a traffic operation at Batley Park on Friday morning.
Two vehicles were seized for no insurance, four warnings were issued for defective vehicle parts, and eight vehicles were prohibited from being driven away, due to dangerous/defective parts.
Four taxis were also dealt with for lighting offences.
Further traffic operations are planned for future months, West Yorkshire Police said.
