A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Cleckheaton today.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Westcliffe Road shortly before 5pm.
The air ambulance was also seen landing in the town's West End Park.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson told the Telegraph & Argus: "A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision with a car in Westcliffe Road, Cleckheaton, which was reported at 4.59pm today."
A resident, who asked not to be named, described the incident as "horrific".
No further information is available at this stage.
