A BRADFORD district pub is selling a large number of its beer glasses tomorrow.

Bosses at The Brown Cow, on Ireland Bridge in Bingley, say they are overflowed with glasses at the moment.

It has led to them putting on a sale on Monday, September 18.

Customers can buy glasses of a variety of beer brands in all different shapes and sizes for a small fee of 50p.

A post on the pub's Facebook page read: "We’re overflowing with glasses so we’re selling them off.

"Come down on Monday, September 18, and choose from a variety of beer brands in all different shapes & sizes - 50p a glass."

The outdoor area at the riverside pub underwent a £250,000 makeover earlier this year.

The work carried out included demolishing two semi-detached houses that had become uninhabitable at the pub’s site due to past floods.

These derelict buildings were replaced by a large patio for outdoor drinking and dining and a new rear entrance to the pub.

The outside of the Timothy Taylor’s pub was also redecorated as part of the work.

The building work began in January this year and concluded three months later in April.
