THREE engines were called to respond to a house fire in the kitchen area of a home in Heckmondwike this evening.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call at 6:35pm today (Thursday) from a member of the public concerned about a kitchen fire that started next door.
"We sent three fire engines from Cleckheaton and Dewsbury Fire Station which arrived on the scene at 6:43pm. The fire was already put out before our arrival.”
