CLECKHEATON Folk Festival organisers are hosting a double-header concert later this month as part of the Kirklees Year of Music 2023.
While the festival itself was cancelled this summer due to its town hall venue needing repairs, the team behind the event are keen to host concerts instead.
Earlier this year they held two spring concerts, and now they are back with another, featuring John Tams, and Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies, at Dewsbury Town Hall.
It will take place on Sunday, September 24, at 7.30 pm.

They will also be holding a “Lock In Christmas Carol” event featuring the Demon Barbers on Saturday, December 9, at Batley Town Hall.
