A BRADFORD district football team has paid tribute to a club stalwart who recently died.
Eddie Sessford was a "valued and hard-working" member of Silsden AFC after being involved in the club for many years.
A post on the club's Facebook page said: "It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Eddie Sessford, a valued and hard-working member of the Silsden Sports Club and Silsden AFC family.
"Eddie has been involved with the club for many years, right up until his last days.
"Our thoughts go out to Irene and his family during this difficult time.
"We will come together for a minute's silence before Tuesday’s game with Barton, with further information regarding a lasting memorial in due course."
