TWO people were injured, including one who was trapped, after a car flipped over in a horrific crash.
A technical rescue team from Cleckheaton Fire Station had to be called to the scene following a collision just after 10pm last night on Ravenshouse Road, Dewsbury Moor.
Pictures on social media showed the car, a grey Audi, had flipped over onto its roof and there were a number of emergency vehicles at the scene.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic incident yesterday evening on Ravenhouse Road in Dewsbury, involving one car.
"We sent three ambulances, along with our Hazardous Area Response Team and critical care paramedic.
"We attended to two patients at the scene and they were transferred to hospital."
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call from the police at 10:07pm requesting our presence at a road traffic collision on Ravenshouse Road, Dewsbury Moor.
"The technical rescue team from Cleckheaton along with two fire engines from Dewsbury attended the scene and were on site in under five minutes and extricated a person trapped in the vehicle.
"Our crews left the scene at 10:29pm and colleagues from Yorkshire Ambulance Service were also in attendance.”
West Yorkshire Police have also contacted for a comment.
