LATEST NEWS: Police reveal football club's changing rooms were set on fire deliberately
A SHIPPING container used as a changing room for a football club has been on fire this morning (Monday).
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) said that two crews were called at 6.25am today to Back Rylstone Street, Keighley, to reports that a shipping container used as a changing room for a football club was on fire.
A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Fire Rescue Services said: “We received a call from the local police notifying us of the fire at 6:25am on Monday, September 4.
"Crews from both Keighley and Bingley were called out (about site people on site).The fire was put out by 8:30am. We also contacted the electricity supplier to isolate the premises.
"West Yorkshire Fire Rescue Services left the premises by 10:50am."
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
The T&A has contacted the West Yorkshire Police for a comment.
